@ Public Relations - Working in partnership to help your business do more business

How I Work

PR is more than just a mission statement

I’ll delve into your business and identify your firsts, biggests and bests. I’ll work with you to find the material that demonstrates your expertise and knowledge. I have an eye for a story, but you have a wealth of knowledge and experience about your business. Together we’ll turn your messages into stories that hook the media and excite your target audiences.

The key to a successful PR campaign is for me to gain an in-depth understanding of your business. My creative approach to media relations together with other PR tools, and the specialists I choose, has helped clients make the most of the media. Together we’ve generated considerable coverage in their sectors and developed strong relationships with some of the most influential technical, regional and national journalists.

But first and most importantly: I listen.

Only when I understand you and your business needs will I start to work on strategy and ideas.
I work to:

Ensure:
• Open and honest counsel
• Creative solutions at realistic prices
• Cost-effective support for (or as an alternative to) existing resources

My Promise

I have a strong work ethic and before taking any proposal further, I believe it is important to make potential clients a number of promises. Should you employ me, I will:

  • Strive to surprise you with lateral thinking using creativity within a strategic framework;
  • Be frank and realistic in my discussions with you;
  • Challenge your thinking and ask lots of questions;
  • Provide honest, cost-conscious counsel;
  • Always be available; and
  • Build strong relationships with you and on your behalf.

I will not:

  • Cut corners or tell lies to you or on your behalf;
  • Make wild claims nor exaggerate our successes; nor
  • Suggest anything, which we believe, does not add value to your overall marketing effort.
